Mariel Manuel's namesake label was imagined over many years and founded in 2023 with the launch of her first collection of colorful cotton travel sets.
After multiple journeys to India, she launched a line of delicately embroidered one-of-a-kind pieces, which enabled her to explore her personal language alongside the many roles that come with being an entrepreneur and independent designer.
True to her way of experiencing the world and in harmony with our environment, Mariel's approach to design is one of curiosity towards what is closest to our human nature: the garments we wear, our connection to the Earth, and the stories we tell. Her approach revolves around storytelling and craft explorations, resulting in distinctive pieces that are connected to her travels and collaborations with artisans.
Since 2020, her dresses are sold at the Faena hotel in Miami beach alongside her work as a creative design consultant for fashion brands.
She works in her studio in Lausanne, where she creates made-to-measure garments.
